netscript-2.4 software package provides Linux 2.4/2.6 router/firewall/VM host network config. system., you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install netscript-2.4
netscript-2.4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the netscript-2.4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep netscript-2.4 *
You will get with netscript-2.4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
